Individual Membership
Evidence of Photo ID: (Originals)
- Current Valid Passport
- Current Valid Driver’s License
Evidence of Address: (Original Copies within 6 months)
- Household Bill
- Bank Statement
Evidence of Tax Identification (Original Copies/one only)
- Current copy of Tax Credit Cert/Official Revenue Document
- Public Services Card
- European Health Insurance Card
- Drugs Payment Scheme Card
Joining Fees
- Membership Fee €0.65 is needed to open the account.
Funds Lodgement
- A minimum of €6.35 is required to keep the account activate
Joint Membership
Both parties need to attend the credit union concurrently and supply the attached documentation individually.

Group / Society / Club Membership
Mandate
- A completed mandate/resolution must be completed for membership, and giving details of who is authorised / designated to sign on the account being opened. Copies of the mandate are available in branch or here.

Mandate
A completed mandate/resolution must be completed for membership, and giving details of who is authorised / designated to sign on the account being opened. Copies of the mandate are available in branch.
Junior Membership
Evidence of Photo ID
- Name of Child – Passport or Birth Certificate;
Evidence of Address
- Permanent Irish Address of the child – parent’s/guardian utility bill, bank statement less than 6 months old;
Evidence of Tax Identification
- The PPSN of the Child/ – Letter from Social Welfare (less and 6 months old), PPSN Card
Parental/Guardian Identification
- Photo ID: Valid Passport or Driver’s License
- Proof of Address for Parent / Guardian: Household bill/Bank Statement (less than 6 months old)

Who can apply?
All ages can join the credit union.
You need to be working or living in the following areas to be eligible to join. Killarney, Fossa, Kilcummin, Glenflesk, Beaufort (Tough), Kilgarvan, Kenmare, Sneem, Killeentierna, Tuosist, and Firies.
In addition:
Membership is also open to those, if they are a member of the same household as, and is a member of the family, of another person who is a member of Killarney Credit Union and who has a direct common bond with those other members.
Employment in common bond
If you are claiming eligibility under the working in the common bond criteria, please provide a pay slip or letter from employer to state that you are employed in one of the areas listed above.
